Motto ‘Serve the Lord with Gladness’

Psalm100

Our motto stems from the second verse of Psalm 100. A psalm is a sacred song or poem.  Within the Bible, psalm 100 is a hymn of joyful thanksgiving, inviting people to praise and worship God.

At Don Bosco, we are called to act upon our faith with joyful service, embracing our gifts and talents to make the world a better place.

School Logo

Don Bosco Logo.jpg

Our logo symbolises the life work of our patron saint and in particular his life work of service to educate and guide. St John Bosco was inclusive in nature, embracing the challenge to empower youth and engage them as virtuous citizens. He believed that the school was the instrumental means for improving a way of life.

Depicted in the centre of the logo, the central figure represents each of us, raising arms to give praise to God, ready to serve and be open to the wisdom, awe and guidance of the Lord.

The smaller figures reflect our diverse student body. The trees;  our growth in the education of the body, soul and mind.  When we open our hearts to the Lord we grow and bear fruit of which to live life to the fullest.
