Facilities 

Don Bosco is a safe and secure school community located just behind our church, Our Lady Help of Christians.  We have electronic locking systems that ensure both fencing and building entrances are secure during the school day.  Our administration staff welcome visitors, ensuring that appropriate child safe practices are adhered to with a Passtab sign in system. 

Volunteers and contractors are trained in our practices and code of conduct; with required identification sighted and stored. 

Our students engage in play on our:

• Expansive football oval 
• Playgrounds of various sizes
• Synthetic mid-size running track and oval
• Courtyard
• Gymnasium

Each class is warm and inviting, conducive to learning with calm colours, front row auditory sound amplification, new furniture and up-to-date school provided technology.

We are blessed to have a full sized gymnasium used for prayer, assemblies and special events. Our physical education program is able to run all year round in this space. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances used by both before and after school care, and to enhance learning opportunities. 

A traditional library enables students to borrow their take home reading texts to reinforce learning and books to read for enjoyment each week. 

Our newly renovated entrance space to the upper carpark, is on its way to become a sanctuary for play and or outdoor learning with a small stage and new garden beds. We look forward to the planting of greenery across the courtyard.
